From The Publisher’s Desk

“Yep, the economy sucks, but people are finally relieved that we’ll have a new government to steer us through the shit that’s sitting at our doorstep… and you know what, I think music will explode!”

These are the words of my buddy, Jim, a veteran musician and the best drummer I know.  “Trust me,” he said, ”You’re gonna hear more people unload their pain and frustration through a musical instrument, unleashing feelings onto a canvas of many different mediums than ever before.”  I couldn’t agree with him more.  It’s fun as hell to make music.  And in these times of change, what better way to take the edge off than to crank up the volume!

With the election finally over, we can now focus on how we move forward in a tough economy.  And as we continue to build the Sonic Weekly community, I look forward to creating, listening to, and being a part of all of the incredible music that will be born at this very time in our country’s history.
